La Bulle Designs was engaged by The Alliance Française de Denver for production of its 2017 events and programs brochure. When fully expanded, the customized quad-fold design features French-themed icons, infographics, and reveals the French flag. This format conveys visual content in an effective, inviting manner which elevates the organization’s overall identity to connect its local community with French, while simultaneously adhering to all U.S. standard mailing guidelines. Thanks to this entry, Anne won a  Silver Award  in the  2D Print/Digital Design  category of  The 2017 One Club Awards Denver Show   (formerly known as the Art Directors Club Denver’s Annual Show)!

REBRANDING

In 2017, Anne was commissioned by the Alliance Française de Denver to create a new brand identity for Festinema Junior, an educational and complimentary French Youth Film Festival taking place each Spring at various locations across the United states of America. In September 2019, the Délégation des Alliances Françaises - États-Unis in Washington, D.C. is now working with Anne to update all the Media Toolkit for all participating Alliances Françaises in the U.S.

THE ART INSTITUTES

T. SHIRT DESIGN

The Art Institutes offer students a wide selection of accredited programs in Design, Media Arts, Fashion and Culinary. Each year in June, Ai campuses nationwide also welcome high school students during the Summer Studio sessions. In 2014, Jenna Nord, the Marketing Coordinator at The Art Institute of Colorado asked Anne to design the 2014 Summer Studio T-shirt.

Final design. The negative space within the design elements gives the logo design a modern look. The information is cohesive and the bright colors make it easy to read.

LUX

EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY

LUX is an experimental typography student project (2014) based on the concept of Paris, the City of Light where Anne used to live. LUX is composed of simple rectilinear and curvilinear shapes so that it remains legible from a distance. It is also strongly influenced by the Guerrilla Marketing, an advertising strategy that focuses on low-cost unconventional marketing tactics that yield maximum results.

Anne selected Harlequin Plaza for her LUX project as the outside of this commercial building presented interesting options for lighting onto different environments.

Anne selected Harlequin Plaza for her LUX project as the outside of this commercial building presented interesting options for lighting onto different environments.

This composition captures the essence of this environmental typography project, as the word LUX almost appears to be a permanent element of this environment. Thanks to this experiment, Anne and her fellow film student, Robert Matthews gained a better understanding of lighting possibilities and limitations in an outside location such as Harlequin Plaza in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
